Our life is made up of a series of moments that are easily overlooked. It is the nature of our minds to go on automatic pilot and lose touch with the now.

Mindfulness is about paying attention to the present moment and to not let it slip away unnoticed. Its about being present and reminding ourselves over and over and over again that this moment is the only moment we really have to live, laugh and love.

Rita Young, a respected counsellor and Somatic Psychotherapist, will be leading a mindfulness training course designed to introduce this method of Stress Management and show you how being mindful will help you cope better, relax more, stress less and find balance in your daily life.

Stress Management for Students and Teachers

The school years can often be experienced as a rollercoaster. A mixture of excitement, fun, boredom and uncertainty. Relationships are formed and broken, new experiences are had. From time to time the demands of school, home and peer expectation can feel overwhelming for students, and for some teachers as well.
